Green lane from York to Robin Hoods bay

Oh ok. Disappointed, as he said you never have to go on one bit of tarmac until you get to the coast. I thought it was a bit odd as York is still quite a distance away from the moors. Back to the drawing board then I guess. Thanks for your reply

Green lane from York to Robin Hoods bay

I've just up at the Park Wood Off Road Centre at Tong, and the marshall's told me about a lane running from York to Robin Hoods Bay. I've searched and searched but can find any info on it or coordinates. Can any one help?

    New to Laning. Advise please

Thanks very much for your offer, appreciate it. But after reading a lot of people's comments, it's looking like I need to build up a bit of experience before I venture out. May have to go to a off road centre or something. Thanks

    Green lane EASY route Holmfirth

Does any one know an easy route round Holmfirth I can do this weekend just for a run out with a passenger on our own. Just want to get off the road and get a little muddy and rocky without turning us upside down. Map coordinates of good directions would be great. Thanks all

Hi Paul, I've found your post about laning in S Yorkshirk. I'm totally new to it and I'm trying to get out there, but I think part of a group would be a lot safer and better way for me. I'm only in Wakefield, do you have any advise or small groups going out.

    New to Laning. Advise please

Thanks for all the info. I've tried looking for groups that are going out, but don't seem to be finding any. I guess I'll keep looking as I'm not up for going out alone. I don't want to go anything too rough, just a nice run out in the country side etc, and obvioulsy get a little muddy
