It appears that the bearings on my 2004 Freelander TD4 could be worn. VCU was replaced when I got it 2 years ago at around 68000, but thinking cheap bearings may have gone in? Whirring noise when driving, but nothing else. No issues on full lock etc, purely the whirring/slight abrasive noise...
