If the injection timing is off the engine will not rev through its full range. It is the only logical starting point that I can see. If someone has an idea I would be greatful.

I am going to spin tires to get a rough estimate of ratio. Thank you guys for help. I will let you know my findings once I figure it out.

BW13-61 005 is the case number. Not 3561.

Revs, plenty of power. I thought the same on the transfer case, but the plate on the case says borg warner 3561 and no dif lock. I have a feeling I need to look at the injection timing and see if it is off.

Question: Is 62 mph a normal max speed? Spec: 1991 D90 200TDI, lt77, BW tcase, stock axle gears, 245/75r16. Just bought. I don't have a tach, yet. On the way home it felt like the old girl was going to blow. Thank you for the input.
