Hiya all I'm pete from worcester this is my first freelander td4 auto lovely car but with gearbox problems. Purchased from a seller on eBay described with no gear issues ...yer right!:mad:

No the reverse drive went before I checked the oil I'm aware of the trouble caused if the wrong bolt is removed But saying that I purchased the freelander of eBay and it was described with out any gear issues, The bolt could have been removed prior to me buying it, as the first time I had to use...

Went to select reverse yesterday and nothing, you can feel it go into reverse and the motor will move an inch before it locks up, have just checked the oil in the autobox and that's fine..anyone any idea?
