Like if you have remote locking and press the lock button when already locked you sometimes get a half arsed noise from the locking if you know what I mean

Just been stood by my disco and even though it's locked it sounds like the doors or some of them are trying to lock themselves,the central locking doesn't work but noise is definitely coming from door locks.anybody had this problem or have a clue what the he'll it thinks it's doing? Cheers dave
