Yeh the cylinder heads cracked so I was advised to get the timing belt looked at too? I thought it would save me a bit seeing as the engine was already in bits?

Well I reckon its aluminium because the garage were sending it off for skimming. Just don't know why they would say it had a chain? Thanks all

Just been made to look a fool by my garage. I thought my 2.5 NA had a belt but apparently it has a chain. Is this possible? I thought it was only 2.25 that had chains? Does this make a difference to how often they need replacing?
