Gave the front wheel sensors a good old soaking in WD40 . Hopefully will gradually work them free and enable me to remove . Notice i said hopefully . :D

Replaced the master and slave cylinder . Bit of a fiddle on but a few quid saved by doing it myself. Happy gear changing once more ;)

Ordered a new master and slave for my Freelander 98 2l diesel . Anyway it came today and i've only had a quick look in the vehicle . Can see how it goes and have removed the slave ready and disconnected the master from the pedal BUT it looks like the plastic shroud 'thing' is way too big to pull...

Yep that's what i've got and have had for about six years . Live in County Durham not far from Cumbria . Big long list of jobs to do for it's MOT. Oh joy ! :p And hello everybody . :D

1998 Freelander 2.0l Diesel . 138,000 miles . Owned for six years . Both front window mechanisms broken - cable snapped . As yet unfixed . Sunroof leaks . Back window regulator doesn't work properly . Propshaft removed because of VC problems. Master/slave cylinder needs replacing...
