This one belongs to Land Rover I recon. It was parked up with other rare and mint Land Rovers at Billing on there stand.

I just had the same problem on my vehicle. 5 litres filled it to max yesterday! Took the dipstick tube out and found the olive was about 30mm up the tube. I have now soldered the olive in its original position 5mm from the end of the tube. Thanks for this thread for its help:)

I have just put a Defender 200tdi into my 1992 ex mod Defender (2.5d). No problems fitting it really. Make sure you get the air cleaner mounting bracket off the inner wing as they are like hens teeth and unobtainable new. I fitted an export spec 300tdi exhaust to mine as they only have one box...

Hi, I am in the middle of converting my 1991 Defender 90 (ex mod) from 2.5d n/a to 200tdi (defender engine). I removed the old engine today and managed to miss disconnecting the single green wire from the sender by the oil filter. :doh: Does anyone know which of the many spare sockets it...

Back again to Land Rover ownership :confused: after an 8 year break! Previous L/R's are S1 80'', S11a 88'', S3 88'',S11a Lightweight, 90 v8 s/w, 110 county td, V8 Disco's x2, Range Rover mk1, 101, Camel Trophy 110. and now a 90 ex MOD. Jeff.
