Looked up limp mode and that's what it's doing. Would an on-its-way-out fuel pump make it limp?

Not ordered anything yet, been looking at prices, is OEM as good as landlover branded? It was 2008/9 when it last had a pump so 4/5 years ago, which makes sense as it's an 04 so maybe that's how long they last? What is limp mode, I'd better go do another search. Sorry for all the numpty...

Last time it just suddenly broke down, so maybe I should always take my mobile until I can sort a new one out! I thought it was an amigos issue, but this exclamation engine light never joined...
