Newdigate body shop - sound guy, used him a couple of times with the wife’s car 😂 Though personally I’ve gone the DIY approach for the Landy, bought myself a cheap air compressor and spray gun from tool station - coach enamel is very forgiving!

Hi All, Apologies if this in the wrong place, it's not specific to Landy's but it will be used to rebuild one! After much debate, and mucking around with a wire wheel followed by a paint brush, I have decided to splash out on an air compressor, sand blaster and spray gun - but I have no idea...

Dunno, would the drivers knee keep hitting the switches though? It's been a while since my dash was where it should be...

If I ever get as far as the dash with my rebuild :p I was thinking of sticking a CB radio in there - or a bank of switches for work lights etc. Probably a CB.

Right then, it's been a while but we're back on track with this :) Just a quick recap: Both axles have been stripped, rebuilt and painted with black Hammerite - with a splash of red here and there, because why not :) The chassis has been stripped, welded and the front dumb irons levelled out...

I would assume not as the later 2a has lights in the wing due to the change in law... Shame as lights in the grill looks best IMO :-)

Yes I agree, this is how mine was rewired by a PO and how I will wire it again after the rebuild - it also frees up a dashboard switch for something else. There must be a reason why it was wired up like this originally though...?
