Well usually in forums if you can't offer any advice then don't contribute. Don't get me wrong some guys on this thread have been very helpful but its sad to say that the majority of the posts are people telling me what I should be doing and not actually offering to answer the original post...

My surname is Cheater so that explains my user not that I need to explain that. And I am getting it fixed, I just got to wait for it to be plugged in. If I was going to bodge it I wouldn't be paying the £50+ vat to know what's wrong! I don't need the saints of this forum taking the moral high...

Hi mate, Thanks for the reply. I think I have seen you around that way when I've been coming back from Sainsburys before. Yeah sounds good, I've never really explored the lanes down this way. Used to go to muddy bottom though before I moved up here from Southampton.

Yeah guess so, it has to light up on ignition doesn't it. Oh well, lets see what Brooklyn say in a few weeks. But if anyone has had issues with non-specialist garages not being able to plug in it would be interesting to hear.

Lol, thats one way of doing it. Is there any way you can remove the bulbs in these dashes? Its not my every day runner so i don't have bottomless pits of cash to spend on diagnostics etc. The abs light i think is a bit easier as i think there may be some play in one of the wheels bearings...
