yep, found the fixit guide, and although awkward I have managed to apply the mk1 3 zip tie bodge and all is good, the main problem I had apart from the obvious access, was holding the motor in place whilst trying to thread the zip ties round it, I used some number plate mounting tape to hold it...

sorry, ok to that, lo and behold, just found a piece of white plastic fall out into the footwell and a electric motor dangling off the colum, holding it back in place and the in/out action works, now lets see if we have the access to zipp it up cheers hammie
