Recovered Landy this afternoon. The oil cooler pipe had come off due to the crimp clip failing?. Pumped entire ATF over pub car park. Lovely patterns in the rain:). Took it to my local LR specialist, new pipe ordered with new ATF and going to plug it in to computer to make sure everything is ok...

Ahh ok, I have googled how to check alternator but only found the way with multimeter and battery terminals, I'm not very mechanically minded, perhaps I should be :)

Cars either tell you of bulb failure or not bother. Is this Land Rover's secret way of telling you of a bulb failure. God help me when I have a major breakdown. Do the doors blow off or does it send a May Day signal to the AA? Can't wait
