So for understanding regardless what the ampage is the device will only draw what it needs e.g. 1 amp or what's rated in the tech spec. I'm not sure then why are the charging leads are blowing or stop working

I put a USB plug-in thing into one of the plugs and it burnt out....so not sure what's going on. I have plug in map lamp which works fine in all of the sockets.

Not sure about the negative and positive, will that affect the amp output? What happens if they are around the wrong way?

Hi all. I have a problem that I would be grateful for any advice on. I recently fitted 4 new power sockets to my defender, but I've found that when I plug in my mobile or Sat Nav (wife's) and more recently my new Sat Nav. They work on the initial plug in, but when I try to use them again they...
