Hughesy, yep hear what you are saying, the heater that i might be getting has a timer on. i would set it to hopefully kick in before i drive in the morning so that its warmed up, and hopefully has de-iced the windows. Once the engine is up to running temp, let the landy heater take over...

As we all know the heater in the landy is pants, looking at doing a trip to the french alps this december for 2 weeks. am looking at fitting a eberspacher airtonic diesel heater. Has anyone out there ever fitted one, i'm looking at fitting an independent internal fuel tank, hopefully that way...

I have a problem with the fan, landy heats up once engine is at running temp and at speed, but the fan does not work. Have checked both fuses in the main fuse box. Had the bonnet up to see, but all i see is a sealed box unit. Any suggestions on anything else i could check.......

Hi Guys When i go to start my landy (1998 defender 300tdi ) a unknown warning light illuminates, at the same time the horn sounds quickly twice. The engine will not start, i turn the ignition off and try again and everything is fine. The symbol is the warning square under the heater plug...
