Asking again, did you hear from Rob? I, in your situation, would try and see if you can find at least one Disco1 or early Disco2 light and see if you can make it fit. You'd maybe have to fab up or obtain light surround etc, but if it gets you a Carte Grise?

Are you sure that it isn't just that the return spring is weak, malpositioned or summat, the return on the pedal or master cylinder I mean.

Glad you got it sorted, well almost. The dead space ought to be down to pistons moving through empty space until the pads contact the discs, and/or the shoes contact the drums. If calipers are properly built I cannot see how that can happen as the seals only distort minutely to pull the pistons...

I hope she is lucky enough to be able to do this successfully. I have an aluminium bonnet on a car that got severely pooped on and no amount of treatment, even repainting, lasted. Bird poop and birds eggs can be awful things to get on a car. Bird poop a bit less, but still, I wish her every bit...

Have you heard back from Rob? I don't know if phase 1 ones will fit, you'll have to ask, but I do know that others have done the opposite, i.e changed phase 1s for phase 2s and they had to cut stuff about, so fitting phase 1s might be easier. You might need to get them off Rob and a few other...
