Does anyone know how vital the metal linkage from the exhaust to the IRD is? Mines cracked and I can see it's been welded(roughly) before. I'm considering just cutting of the nub, it's creating a lot of interesting noises when I let off the gas. 😅

It's a sh*ton, that's why the forum is full of posts about how hard they are to get off. I just tighten them down until I can't, they've stayed on(for now).

I wish they'd ignore me, but they're always after my wages. :(

Tried loosing up my tie rod for an alignment. Noticed one of the bolts in the steering rod assembly has a snapped head(nr. 2 in image) Does anyone have the specs for them? It's a 13mm socket, but don't know anything about the thread, dimensions or material.

This is a quite large topic, but some things to check first. - Can you hear the pump "priming" when you turn power on? It should cut off after a few seconds. - Are all the fuses ok?

Yup. Leaky seal still on. I didn't bring a fresh one though, so that's probably on me. At least I've learned to get the seals at the same time I get the replaceable part. I thought I learned that lesson after a very eventful brake pad replacement on a '00 Mégane. :confused:

Nothing too impressive, but it's the little things that make you smile. Especially with how often you find yourself under it. I don't expect anyone but me and the MOT inspector to enjoy it though. :D
