Know the feeling, there's some roads round here I'll only go down in the niva.

The old saying is true: In the UK we used to drive on the left of the road, now we drive on whats left of the road.

I'll agree with the Meyle HD parts. The 9-5 i have used to go through droplinks every 6-12 months. Meyle HD now been on for about 10 years and only just needing replacement. The roads round Oxford are generally crap at best as well.

Had a cup of coffee and a chocolate brownie whilst I prepped the new side steps to go on the rangey. Then pressure tested the AC system, found a hole in the condenser, drank more coffee and ate the other 11 brownies in a fit of depression, then found a new condenser locally for £57.

In true Land Rover style, I fixed one coolant leak only to find another, on a stupid preformed BMW plastic pipe. The old plastic pipe i think I was very lucky with. Undid the 3 bolts holding it to the block and the branch off it just fell off. Don't think it would have been much longer before...

Classic Has anyone ever replaced the fuel line connectors to the fuel pump for a 1994 RR 3.9 V8 with AN connectors? If so, does anyone have the specs of them?

Connector size is generally suited to the hose size. A hose with 5/16" (8mm) internal diameter is best suited to an AN6 fitting. Which had a 9/16 thread diameter. A 3/8" hose (10mm) will be suited to AN8 which is a 1/2" thread. 1/2" hose about AN10 etc but that rule of thumb isn't set in stone...

Not got one myself so can't say exactly but may be able to help a bit. Does the pump have AN fittings on it now?

Well at the moment it may just be a diagnostic tool not being capable of deleting codes. Will hopefully find out shortly if it worked or not. Millionaire shortcake, there's a cake.....

Today I'm planning on replacing the in tank fuel pump so I can use all the fuel before it cuts out, bodge up a retaining pin for a handbrake shoe, replace the siren sounder module and stop a coolant leak on the TD6 top hose branch thingy. That's if it all plays nicely.
