What are you using to check for codes? As explained above, there should be some codes stored, as the EML has been on (even if it’s now off again).

They can suffer from leaks/splits in the boost pipes.

A little more ‘practical’ I guess! I’m just looking for something small that I can put in the back to take along, without taking up too much cabin space. Also seen some fold-up step/stool things in Jeff’s emporium. Seem to be plastic, but will be much flatter when folded. Will need to check...

No, because I’ve never done it. But a simple google search will tell you a lift kit, with no further modifications, will stress other parts. Assume you have proof it doesn’t?
