On the D3 with the GAP tool you can switch off auto lights and auto wipers, both things that annoy me. So I would assume it is the same with the fl?

Just looked at an old pic of mine, and the belt is the same size you have bought. If you get a minute measure the od of the pas pulley and I will check mine.

Unplug one side HID unit, plug in a normal H4 bulb and see if the flickering still occurs, if it does the car is at fault, if not the HIDs are duff, simple and no fancy knowledge needed. Do not lean the H4 bulb against anything soft/plastic as they get very hot in use.

That is a casting number, and not an engine number. You could try a little acid on where the engine number should be and see if anything shows up. Any pics of your pump and the incorrect pumps?

Flexi will work for a while, mild steel flex short life span, stainless steel longer life span, but even they stiffen up and then split after time.

I think std series exhaust might be to small a diameter? Nice pipe, but 234 quid kin hell! I made my own. I had to go up because of pto shaft, early diesel also took their exhaust out the nearside inner wing.

The latches on all of them are rubbish, freelander/d3/d4 I think are all the same part numbers, but pls check first!
