I left it 12 hours and it had cleared itself so I took it home (25 miles) and it went back into limp mode again!

Truck was driving fine then all of a sudden I got flashing M and S lights and she is now stuck in 3rd gear. I'm assuming it's a fault with the xyz switch? It's a 52 plate auto. Thanks in advance

Mines been doing something similar and is a faulty xyz switch.

Right! Just finished an mpg check after the above and I'm now getting 24.4 mpg as opposed to 20!! I'm not sure if it was one thing or a combination of all but it is more like what it should be I think? Thanks everyone

I've been suffering the exact same thing. Today though it won't start at all! All lights go out but nothing, not even a click. If it is the solenoid thing where do I find it? Any pics would be good:o:confused: Found it, hope fully it will be something more simple though but I doubt it!

Front tyres were fine (32psi), rear were only 30psi so pumped them to 38psi, MAP was filthy so cleaned it with brake cleaner and air filter was black!! Now replaced. I'm in the the middle of the new mpg check so will post back here with the results. Thanks

Sorry read your post wrong :o thought it said fix! With me it's the bottom hose that's a pain in the butt. I don't fancy laying on a cold wet driveway trying to get at the pipe. My mate has a lift so he's doing it for me

I thought I had solved it by using a marine rubber compound. This worked for quite some time but eventually it gave up. I've spent so much on topping up the coolant I decided yo do it properly!

I would just gaffa tape the piece of bleed screw you have left in place just to make a better seal. I'm no mechanic but I had to drive mine 15 mins and all seems ok.
