I know there is a tyre thread at the top of this forum.... But i just want to know what the widest tyre is that can be fitted to the standard 16 inch Disco 1 Alloy wheel? It Currently has 235 70 16's on... can i push it up to 255's?

Britpart ones really are poo... Delphi are apparently OE spec, but for a few extra quid i always use genuines... Part Number ERR5057, about £80 IIRC...

Doing it at the weekend, i've driven one with the conversion, and yes... it is worth it! the 110 calipers are 4 pot, so not just increased pad size, but also increased grip!
