So many posts about springs and leaning to drivers side, but in short: weight distribution on Land rovers is biased to the drivers side, particularly with full fuel tanks and heavy drivers... springs are different on driver's/passenger's sides to compensate for this and have different parts...

Metro, Maestro, Montego all fit - put a maestro one on mine - bit smaller diameter + a bit thicker to grip, gives a bit more room but still retains enough leverage to turn easily and look right in a 70's landy too. They are also a bit flatter which gives more room too, but you may need to ease...
