Yup it has those.Kind of rubbery things, same on doors.

No off road goodies, well apart from 1" lift spacers under the springs. The tyres are worn to the limit so are effectively scrap. The rims are deep dish ANR 3631,twenty year old original LR items so expect plenty corrosion is lurking but will still do someone a turn.

15-20lbf.ft. Nothing to with preloading any bearings. The only bearing remotely involved with the halfshafts is a roller bearing. Preload generally applies to taper bearings eg the wheel bearings. Get hold of good manual,it will help you allot.

Never seen a split pin on a spring shackle bolt before. Shock absorber lower mountings have a washer and split pin arrangement tho.

The ones on both of mine are adjustable in length. One set is original stainless like yours and the ones on the other are new replacements from paddocks, both are adjustable

Butyl tape. Used it many times on the door glass. Used it on boat deck fittings and windows frames too. Makes a flexible nonsetting seal.

Same here. I left mine bolted to the old chassis and did one side at a time. When putting back onto new chassis it did need pulling about with ratchet straps to get the alignment spot on.
