Hi could someone tell me a easy way to check that the alarm system is working properly ? reason i ask is my p38 was broken into a few weeks ago and the alarm didnt seem to go off ! although they didnt actualy open any doors,just smashed 5 windows and pulled out everything they could.:mad::mad::mad:

yes pulled conector apart and gave it a good clean but still getting the warning message!

Hi can anyone give me the part number for the auto gearbox temp sender on a 98, 4.0, p38 ? as i keep getting gearbox overheat message even from startup:doh: checked all wiring which seems ok. cheers.

i would suggest using a acid etch primer on aluminium. you can get spray cans of this from halfords.they also do a really good paint matching service. And no i dont work for them:p

tell the garage you want the shocks changing and not the airbags! but to be honest they are really easy to change only 2 bolts on each shock to worry about.

think they mean the air suspension there is a air bag at each corner with which you can adjust ride height for off roading ect,switch in the middle of the dash with arrows pointing up/down.

do you mean the shock absorbers or the air bags? shocks are about a 20 min job and very easy to do yourself!

No need to get shirty just cos someone disagrees with you! just saying wot worked for me, and if you payed 55k for yours the salesman must be laughing all the way to the bank.

well it worked for me over a period of six months ! never any issues with it!!

quick fix is to disconect RF reciever ariel untill you get a new one worked for me !
