Are you able to poke the cable above the headliner to get it to the front easy enough?

Can anyone recommend a deasent flaring tool. This is a job on my list,don't what to buy the first I see.

Amazing first post. You can get quick release mounts for aerials. Have you got the 1.5m springer? If so get the smaller one as the springs a bit stiffer.

I put one off a 90 on mine. Used a bit of drain pipe for inner wing and a bit of flexy to get to airbox. I think it was 2 3/4"

Get under it with a long pry bar and lever between the axle and a frame. Its a sod of a job on a disco,not as much space on the axle for the nut compaired with a fender. If you,ve got to change it I would spend the extra money and get a new fulcrum with ball already installed.

Was it home fitted or garage? Would there be any come back to a garage if a belt snapped early on an off roader?

I would change the lot to be on the safe side. The impellers can give up the ghost.Don't forget the p gasket if your changing the lot Andtry not to buy britpart.

Anything can be made to fit anything. Why not introduce yourself and ask in the disco section before you get flamed.

I,ve got terra firma on mine and have no complaints at all. Been on for 18 month and although their starting to look a bit dogged,their still solid. Paid £25 a corner.

What did you do to plug on the alternator. Might be worth changing for a new connector and making sure its crimped on better.

My electric one just tilted and leaked. All sealed up and switch disconected:)

Springs and dampers are easy to fit.spanners,a socket set and some stillsons. Get a deasent trolly jack and jack the chassis as high as you can and then get the land rover bottle jack in between the axle and chassis and pump until you have the space:)
