still aint right...:confused: New leak off pipes, new lift pump. Still not starting well. Sure she is putting out a fair old cloud of black smoke when she does start. Sure it wasnt like that before I started having hassle starting her up. Any ideas anyone?

Last few days my 90 is struggling to start. Used to just turn the key, no accelerator and it would fire up. Do that now and it fires then dies. Needs a boot ful of accelerator to start it and then it will run fine. Could the lift pump be on the way out? Cheers Ian

Hi James What is worth checking on pads, calipers and discs. It doesn't pull to one side so I guess it's not a sticky calliper? Ian

Hi James, Thanks for the swift reply. Foot on pedal, start up and pedal drops down an inch or two then holds. Engine running, foot on pedal, engine off and pedal stays at that level, doesn't sink. Not sure what to think...

Not really happy with my brakes, they work but don't really feel like they are working 100%. Have checked the vac pump and that's ok, checked the servo to see if the pedal sinks a little when you start the engine, that the pedal stays ok if depressed and engine turned off etc and the servo...
