BECM issue for sure

If it is a coil - they could both be connected, cos the coil will interfere with the radio frequency... I remember the old days of motoring when an old car went past with a dodge set of leads and the radio went all crackly....

Rangie Ville Look aftereach others Range Rovers - wash and polish. Trade prop shafts. Get extra points for adding a friend - buy an engine Buy lube and gaskets. If you don't keep looking after the girl the BECM will loose sink and she rusts.. I reckon it's a goer :D:D:D

Have you checked your front prop shaft?

I would still recommend getting a new regulator - they rust and snap due to fatigue - the last thing you want is to put an old one on and it snaps 2 weeks down the line, especially as they are only £23

I did my window regulator last weekend - the most difficult bit was getting the ball joint into the new clips I had purchased, had to use a G clamp in the end! Took about two days for the window to stop screeching when it went up and down...

Your sensor settings may be a red herringi, I would test them again at ride height - I had a new sensor put on my P38 and that reads about 40 below the others, it justs depends on the sensor... The actual faults sound like an issue with the EAS computer not getting the correct information...

It depends on how much you paid for it and will it work - if it has been repaired in the past (and they took out a row for the repair) then I would have thought it could be used, but how would you test it???

Ahhh sussed it out - no refridgerant, so just need to find out where the leak is - I have a sneaking suspicion that it is one of the valves as it is covered in yellow (or could br green) oil.... I assume the valves just unbolt from the pipework so are relativly easy to replace..

It surprises me that it didn't come with CC. I would have thought the wiring was there for CC - put your location on, then someone close may be able to bring theirs over so you can see how it is set up....

Ahh - I have already done that Irish - put 12v across the round connector and the clutch does engage - so not getting the Vs from where ever... There are 3 relays in the fuse box with the aircon sign on them, 2 green and one yellow - so I assumed one has to do with the clutch... It is no good...

Hmm - could be, although when it is on the Faultmate, the HEVAC computer is saying it has turned the air con on - therefore I would have thought it shold be supplying power to a relay as the solenoid takes a fair bit of power. I need to get the HEVAC panel out anyway as some of the bulbs have...

OK - need some assistance here guys - the air con has stopped working... Put the Faultmate on her, no faults on the HEVAC - the system has the air con swichted on - but the clutch is not engaging. Tested the solenoid on the the compressor clutch and that works (hot wired it to a battery), so...

Even with the Extreme you would need to plug it into a laptop to get the live data recorded - without the laptop it will just display faults and clear faults I believe.

I hope it was very cheap... You probably need to get it on a Land Rover diagnostics to sort out the sync between the BECM and the engine ECU - if you put your location on there maybe some one close with a sync mate or Faultmate/Testbook to help you. New door solenoids are definatly...
