I have been looking at some superchargers and i was wondering what is involved in fitting one and if my 2.25 engine would be strong enough to take one?

what is the reason you cant? its a 2.25 low compression desert engine if that makes a diffrence?

I have quite a bit of deisel (7 big jerry cans) and i dont have a deisel car! can i put a bit of deisel in with the petrol as long as its well diluted?

well, the temprature sensor has decided it wants to read full all the time no matter what, engine cold, engine hot! Is there a chance there is something shorting out. when i disconnect the sensor the gauge goes down and then i connect it up again and straight back to full?

well that 13 core cable! i have a big bit of 13core cable running through that front panel and it would be a pain cuting that and putting it all back together after, that is why the engine is so high up.. and yes i do still have that cheesy grin!!

Picked up the new engine! woop. Old Engine did blow up on the way back quite Spectacularly <-- think it was because i put on the ear defenders and just floored it all the way back. New Engine now in, after a few mod's, still got problems with the clutch draging and it is using way to much...

well you see it, has a series 3 box in it! what i think it is, is that the clutch plate isnt slipping up and down the shaft propperly? will the gearbox bugger if i keep using it with the clutch in this way?

right i have just replaced my engine, and whilst i had the lot out i put on a new clutch. this new clutch seems to drag when i have my foot on the pedal making it difficult to select gears.. it does make a nice crunch going into reverse which it never usted to. what do you think the problem...

right i am going to go with an engine from withams! is it difficult to fit the 12v alternator to a 24v engine? and as the engine has an oil cooler and i dont have the oil rad can i just put a bit of pipe going from the out to the in on the pump outlets?

well the crank shaft is well gone u can hear it banging about! piston rings are giving me realy low compresion and one of the 3 bearings is probs floating around in my sump about now!

arr i would. i was looking at a v8 but being a young lad and all, i wont get insured if i have an engine in there that is diffrent spec to the original

right now that my engine is back in the car i have found that basicley its a bit F&*k3d. I need to find a recon as i dont have the time to do it my self! does any one know of where i can get my mitts on one? or who supplys them? cheers yannis

yes everyting is centered! can get the unsplined bit of the shaft in, but cant seem to get engine perfectley allined for splines to interlock.

Right, got the engine out and have done the stuff that needed doing! now getting it back in we have spent quite a bit of time wiggleing it about but the main shaft will not go back into the clutch! has any one got any tips or tricks that will help us to get everything back in again? cheers...
