I broke the points apart and the spark was a bit yellow and weak....

Right, I was driving along and it just cut out and wont go again. It was like the ignition had been turned off? The other day it was spluttering and backfired? Any suggestions on what it could be? Condenser, Points? Yannis :(

Well, anything will be better then before, there was so much play! A comment I got when at a off road site in Wantage was "is that wheel attached to the vehical, it seems to have a mind of its own"

Your right. No Play... I gave it a hell of a shake about... even with the wheel on to get more leverage. The seal fits perfectley, will hold in the EP90 no trouble.

No it doesnt. But as it is now, its perfect. Right amount of resistance, it all sits equaly, top and bottom.

Yer I added 1 big thick one and 3 thin ones. My opinion of tight is it broke the scales. It says 16LB of pull you need before it should move. It was more like 30 Well if it wares out I can pop the top off and put in the thrust washer. Also when the thrust washer was in the outer case...

I had the same problem. I had to bend the pipe and cut a bit off the end for it to fit!

I have just renewed the swivels on my series today. I put the thrust washer in as it says in the destructions. The swivel was so darn tight, I could hardley move it. So i took it out and did away with it. It seems perfect now and there doesnt seem to be a problem?

Here are the speakers in the MDF holder I made that fits on each door. This is it before it was painted and the grill fitted!

I have got my head unit just above my knees (when im sitting in the drivers seat). It took a bit of getting used to, getting in and out with out knocking it about. I have a 500watt amp under the passanger seat! I have 12 speakers in each door, (needed if you are to hear anything in a series)...
