cheers,is there any way to test for a foooked block

Hi the guy i bought from,has told me he will swap it,but we are just trying to figure out what is wrong ,this is my first rangie and i know it may sound sad but i bloody like the old girl,ps its a 95 with 128000on the clock.;)

going to bleed system again now,the guy i bought it of has been good he sent me a new thermostat, which we later found was not working, supplied a new rad, but i think the problem is the coolant system is pressuring, at the momment the thermostat that is in is mangled so it is open all the time...

hello every one new boy from ni, just writing to say hi to all, bought a 4.0v8 p38 with a few problems, but hopefully with a bit of time and probaly a loy of money,will hopefully get there.:)

yes had a sniff test done,and there are no other signs like water in oil etc.

hi everyone have just bought a 4.0 v8 p38 was overheating, fitted new rad +thermostat does not overheat anymore, but when it gets to running tempreture it blows coolant out of overflow on header tank, think the coolant system is pressuring but what can make this happen,any help very much apprecited,
