Sorry can't be of any further help. Been through microcat and checked the door assembly and the door card assemblies but can not find any other loose part at the top of the card. Good luck with the search

Have to agree. Used to have 1996 300tdi disco, exchanged for 1997 300tdi 110 defender. Towing a horse trailer with 2 horses and the defender beats the disco hands down. Plus defender seems much more stable on the road.

From what I can see there is nothing else. Have included image of the instrument panel and can not see anything else. Will look at mine tonight and let you know unless someone else can answer the question first

Well my 300tdi also has one of these but I think it is associated with the egr ecu (which is also hiding under the middle seat. What is the best thing to do with these if I want to fit a cubby box? Can I just move them so they hide under the passenger seat or just hide them under the cubby box...
