I don't know when the oil was changed to be honest, as I only had it less than a year before the crash, would crappy oil cause this then? If so, do you think just changing the autobox oil would sort this?

It all depends if it's a Serpentine belt or old fashioned V belt. If it's got a Serpentine belt, it's a RIGHT hand thread, as my brother found out when he was trying to get mine off. Chisel and large hammer did it in the end, but it was a bugger, as he'd been tightening it up before he found out.

The Rimmer Brothers 'stainless' sports exhaust on my Range Rover Classic looks the same as the one in the photo. It IS stainless, but a pretty poor grade. The only bits that's still shiny are the silencers and tailpipe.

I cut the seals years ago for a IIA rebuild. I just sealed them at the top with a blob of silicon. They didn't leak in 8 years, so I guess it's OK...
