    Rear Wiper

Did this occure when you engaged reverse gear? If you have you front wipers on at all and put the car in reverse it will automatically start the rear wiper.

    Fuel burning heater

Seems my Freelander does not have one of these fitted. Is it worth fitting one and if so anyone have any idea where I would get one and the bits needed for it to work? How hard would it be to fit also?

Tratterer ask questions about a Freelander for his misses...

I suggest a FL1 TD4. Pretty solid. Mine is a 5 door fixed roof. I notice if I open the back window the cab starts to fill with the stink of exhaust fume. If the roof was off it might be much the same? Not sure though. Maybe someone who has one can tell you more.

What the hell is this for?

Oh ok mate sorry. Thought the site was for all Landrover owners. I might also add that as an ex soldier I have had a 1 ton Landrover (which was a bitch for backfiring and had a crash gearbox), 3 series, 90's, 110's, Bedford RL's , Bedford MK's and for 2 years a 432 APC all of which were FFR's...

What the hell is this for?

Was reading on another thread about condensation on the windows and possible sources for the moisture. One source was listed as the tool pit in the boot. So quick as a flash I ran outside to see if the carpets in my tool pit were damp. Actually thats a lie. I forgot about it till I was waiting...

    which is the brightest h4?

Lets face it. At some point yer engine is going to go on fire thus providing all the illumination you could ever want. Failing that go to Halfords and get the brightest ones they sell. Thats what I did.

Do you regret buying a Freelander?

I remember when I was young you didnt get "trouble free motoring". Every car needed regular maintenance. Then along came the Japanese. Owning a Freelander reminds me of my youth. I have to get my hands dirty again. I have to plan maintenance of it into my life. But that creates a bond...

    Hi :)

Suppose I have "lurked" long enough and have now worked up the confidence to put my head above the parapet. I recently bought a Freelander 56 plate TD4. I have spent some time since buying said hippo fixing some of the problems the previous owner felt were beneath him. Like headlights not...
