I also bought a pair on Ebay, which turned out to be duds. Got it working sort of, however will be looking to replace it with a new one.
When you go to Farnborough, let us know the outcome, as its fairly close for me too.

Hi Miriam,
The engine change irrespective of engine is a rather simple process.
You could get hold of a whole 2.8td Isuzi Trooper and transplant the engine into your landy. You would be looking at about £300 for the Isuzi, and £200 for a conversion kit.
Just remove your old knackered...
In most cases you just need to buy a conversion kit.
The kit should contain engine mounts and a conversion plate to the gearbox.
Its just a case of removing the engine, rewelding the mounts to the chassis, and then dropping the new engine in.
You then just need to play around with the...
So where did you get your conversion kit?
Did you need to change the engine mounts?
How fast does your 90 go now?
Any feedback much appreciated. Thinking of undergoing this transplant in the next months.

After weeks of rewelding and fine tuning.
I finally got my landy through an MOT. I swear the person that sold it to me must have had a dodgy MOT done.
Now a week later, I find other bloody problems. I need to change the water pump and fix a seal on clutch master.
Land Rovers, the bloody...
Someone else on the forum mentioned something that could link to your problem.
It was to do with the diff engadgement problem, could be something to do with warn gears, or something.

Alright Guys,
Behing schedule today. Just need to weld 1 more floor panel, and put in the seats and she will be all finished.
On target to get here finished tomorrow though.
Will post a pic tomorrow.
Annoyed I couldn't get it finished for the London to Brighton though. For any...
Well my reply to that is:
I do have a job, and do have a very annoyed girlfriend.
Its only taken about 3 weekends so far to reweld, and rewire the chassis.
Putting in new footwells tomorrow, and then she will be all fininshed.
Rich
Hey Marcus,
Well after a bloody hard working weekend. I am still off the road. Little bit more welding, here and there and will be ready to play again before the weeks out.
Rich
One question banzia.
If your Landy is currently Bonnati Grey, why would you want to change its colour?
If mine were like yours, I would be thrilled.
Rich
Ok,
So I am not quite finished yet. AAARRRGGGHHHH!
I have finished the rear now, and have started to hamerite the whole chassis. Going to be putting the tub back tomorrow evening.
Just leaves me the welding of a new panel behind the gearbox crossmember, and the outrigger for the front...
Hi all,
I am thinking about doing it for a laugh.
My 90 is currently of the road (for the past 4 weeks). Major chassis repair.
Hoping to be back up and running soon though. Let you know if I am going.
Rich
I have put in about 3 weekends work into welding, and am still going. Hoping I will get it finished this weeked. Then just need to rewire the rear tub.
Rich
