Just had my disco MOT'd .... Mechanically she is sound as a pound!! Structurally she's a sieve!! Where's best place get body panels? I can patch a lot of it but inner sills are shot and couple of the body mounts are shot too. Best get me welding mask on, its gonna be a long few nights!!

Thanks for the replies, i changed the filter screen when i changed the oil, i'll change it again this weekend. The oil wasn't blackened. Only reason i mention the oil cooler is because it overheated after just a short drive.

Hi everyone, I towed my caravan with my disco 300tdi auto a few weeks ago, after about 30 miles it started struggling a bit, with only 5 miles to go i carried on.... when i got to the site the gearbox absolutely stunk and it had gotten that hot the kickdown cable had melted. I left the caravan...

I've changed the clutch & Slave cylinder in my TD4 as my old man burnt it out towing, ball ache of a job that it was but i can't get the system to bleed now, the reservoir is full of fluid but it won't pull through, i don't want to keep pumping the pedal as i've heard it'll knacker the master...
