    Which Front Shocks??

Also agree with the above. To be fair to the OP though, I don't think he was looking to save money, just for some help choosing the best shocks for his car.... Cheers Jerry

    Auxiliary belt tensioner - help!

Thanks guys really appreciate your help - knowing that it should just unscrew, out came the 18" stilson (not a tool usually used when working on the car I might add!) and it came undone very easily - so now just need to source a replacement and get it all back together.... Cheers, Jerry

2.5 DSE Engine Diagnostic Fault finding help (Nano Evo2)

Thanks keith - I am suspecting a nanocom issue here so better wait and see what bbs say - in the meantime if there are any other edc nanocom owners out there who could see what their rpm figures are that would be great. Cheers Jerry

    Headlights

I was under the same impession as wammers - certainly my citroen C5 had no levellers for the OEM HID lights. Only washers. No idea why L322 has them - perhaps because self levelling can be disabled (guess)? Cheers Jerry

    Headlights

No, sorry - but why do you need self levelling? The EAS levels the car.....! Cheers Jerry

Other jobs while it is in bits ... intercooler, aircon

Hi I decided to pull the front out of my P38 to get to the aux belt tensioner as it is a good opportunity to get some overdue jobs done. First was replacing the oil cooler; turns out it is not leaking at all; the oil drips seem to be coming from the intercooler input rubber hose connection. A...

    Replacing the tensioner lever

Hi Mcapinha - nobody ever replied to your post - did you manage to sort this? I have the same problem... except mine has let go :-( (see other thread) Cheers Jerry

    Auxiliary belt tensioner - help!

Hi all Jumped into the P38 this morning to get some croissants, alternator fault and no PAS. Car now looks like the attached picture. Turns out the auxiliary belt tensioner has self destructed. The belt is intact. Looking at the attached pics, I think you can see an area where there was...

2.5 DSE Engine Diagnostic Fault finding help (Nano Evo2)

Hi, just upgraded mine and it makes no difference.. still showing 3753.75, as is yours. Unfortunately we are now in that horrible situation where one is not sure if the diagnostic tool or the thing being tested is at fault! If anybody else with the P38 EDC Nanocom could try theirs out, it...

2.5 DSE Engine Diagnostic Fault finding help (Nano Evo2)

OK I've just been out to check it (since it's lunchtime!) and, lo and behold, I get a needle lift reading of.... 3753.75 when the engine rpm is 750. And it doesn't change.... I am as sure as I can be that I didn't get this before... So either eloteq and I have the same issue (mine is starting...

How quickly can a dodgy alarm receiver drain the battery?

Ah, a biker too! I know what you mean about lack of time, other than an annual few days touring mine used to get very little use. Most recent bike was a KTM 950 SM, utterly brilliant. I plan to get another at some point, hopefully fairly soon..... In the last 18 months I have bought 3 bikes in...

2.5 DSE Engine Diagnostic Fault finding help (Nano Evo2)

I am 100% sure that the needle rpm and engine rpm values were always within about 25rpm of each other (difference most likely due to the measurement being taken at slightly different times - I don't think the actual engine rpm is different ;-) ) when read using the Nanocom and from memory also...

    My Project P38

I'm no guru on the alarm system, but I have found that when my fob stops working (about once a month) then it will not resynch or start working again until the EKA is entered correctly and engine immobilisation is cancelled. Once I have done this and started the engine, after a few attempts the...
