In almost two years my SRS light (1995 model) has come on twice - both times I have reset it with my nanocom and it hasn't come back. So if you are lucky it could just be a glitch... Either way as others have said, you need to start by hooking it up to some sort of diagnostics that is capable...

On a related note, I have seen two 2003 L322s with some corrosion on the rear wheel arches - this is a suprise to me as my 1995 P38 has no corrosion at all! They were both around the 8K mark. These cheaper cars at 6-8K, are they completely rust free? Do you have to pay a bit more to find one...

Been looking a bit myself recently and I would also say about 8K possibly even a bit more if it is in really good condition. Plenty of V8s being snapped up at 7.5-8K ish with 80-100K miles on If you decide not to buy it, could you PM the details to me? ;-) Cheers Jerry

Another twist on this thread.... I am considering a petrol V8 L322 which has high mileage (115K) but is cheap... It has recently had a new torque converter. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?! I am just a bit concerned that if the old TC was failing it could have contaminated the gearbox...
