Please understand i'm a total novice and hav'nt a clue what a timing cover is. I know what an axle is and think i would be able to find where to plug it after looking for half a day. I've just send a message to the seller on ebay to see whether the kit comes with instruction cuz it does'nt say...
Thanks for that goon, i think i must get one of those and have ago at fitting it myself weather permitting, seems straight forward enough, then after that the oil in all those place that the breather pipe are fitted to will stay free from water forever, SORTED!!!!
I need to get one of these kits, are they user freindly and easy to fit? I'm a novice and don't have much mechanical knowledge of defender 200tdi? Does it have to be fitted to a snorkel? I have a safari snorkel.
P.S. I like playing in puddles.
Can you buy and fit breather pipes which connect onto the wade plug holes in order to raise the hole inlet? What happens if the oil where the wade hole are turns creamy?
Hi, could anybody give me a quick/brief lowdown on how the handbrake works on my Defender 90 1991 200tdi. Am I right in saying that it does not connect to the rear discs with a cable like most ordinary cars? I have a Disco rear axle fitted to my Defender with rear disc brakes.
Thanks Terra Dog...
I'm running BFG Mud Terrain's, they came with the landy and i was told they're good for 100,000 miles, don't know how true it is but they seem pretty good to me. I've been off roading and they seem to get me out of trouble apart from last weekend when i got totally suck in feet depth mud/clay...
Hi all, thought this might be of interest to some, i came across this website which tells you where all the fords are in the UK and also a description of what they're like, depth, length, map etc.....

Enjoy!

Ok thanks for that redhand. I'm sorta looking forward in a way to my first bit of landy maintenance, let's just hope it stays cheap and nothin major happens.
