So if it shouldn't have oil in it why has it? Any ideas?

Hi all, is it right that the rubber drain off condom thingy is suppose to fill up will oil on my 90 defender 200tdi? I took it off today for the second time in two weeks after not running the landy much and it was full of oil again. I would say about 150ml ran out when I took it off. Im talking...

I think mines a standard box. I'm also not into booting my cars past what sounds and feels comfortable. Like you say, 60mph is sweet and at least then you get a bit of power to play with when it comes to overtaking.

How the hell did you get your landy to do 80mph is beyond me. I'm lucky if mine will do 70mph, anything after that don't seem right. I have a 200tdi by the way. Does anyone know what the top speed of a 200tdi is and does it knacker the engine if they are thraped to this sort of speed?

I've stuck the insulation back on to the underside of the bonnet, in the rain I might add. Been meaning to do it for weeks.

I already pulled it out and the rubber grommet fell into the bottle when i went to put it back in, doh

Yeh its definatly the the pump, i just swapped the wires over and the rear pump started working. Cheers Bust.

Thats the one Bust, its the right hand washer pump lokking at the pic u just posted. There £8.25 of ebay.

A new set of wipers will help that problem. With some decent window washer soap from halfords, the pink stuff is the best.

The pump is knackered. The spade connector which goes into the pump is loose. Looks like i gotta get a new one. Cheers Guys.

I can't hear the pump working when i press the front washer but can hear the rear one with the engine off that is. So there are two pumps then, one front one rear? No not on a wind up bust. Just gonna go and check it.

Hi All, Got in the landy today after having the starter motor and alternator fixed only to find the windscreen washer is'nt working. The rear washer works fine and the windscreen wipers come on when i press the washer to work but no washer. I've checked the fuse and obviously because the wipers...
