    Like Claw, I have my classic on classic insurance policy. with Footman James -- £130 / year, unlimited mileage. They were even happy with the transplanted engine (m51 in classic) - everyone else I spoke to wouldn't even quote for it.

    I don't have a snorkel, so probably not much help - but looking at that photo on their website it looks to me like the snorkel does hit the corner between the top and side of the scuttle. Does the line of your snorkel stay completely outside the line of the scuttle side?
