I prefer the kiln-dried Ash or Oak, but last year I took a job-lot of 2xM3 "various" from some local lads and their start-up business and it was mainly pine. It all burnt though and no harm seems to have been done.

My Niece had her rubber roof torn to shreds by crows which then resulted in leaks and damage. They would take their stolen food up to the flat roof area and peck it and the roof to bits. They had to change over to a fibreglass roof. The crows came from the local park that was just over the back...
