As I remember it, he put a plate on a bracket so the coil packs were in the space near the battery box. High enough up to keep them dry and readily accessible; and it could all be demounted if required for other servicing. :)

There was YouTube clip where a bloke relocated the coil packs to a more sensible spot in the engine bay. Can't find it now though.

When my P38 went "lumpy" the garage's fix was to change an HT lead on the cylinder concerned. This went on for a few weeks and by the time they had changed 3 leads I had had enough and I told them to change ALL the leads and both coil packs. Never had a problem after that.

I don't have a flavour problem with the gas BBQ, but If I did I would buy a small "smoker-tin" you fill it with wood-chips of your choice of flavour (oak, whisky barrels, fruit wood) and place it on the BBQ surface the wood smoulders and imparts an extra flavour to your food.

I replaced that seat mesh on my trike. :) Seems OK. Time will tell. Is already nicer to sit on. Will need tightening up after a while.

Wow! That depends on the house I guess, but that sounds way over the top. Used to be you could DIY and then call the electricity board to come and do a safety check. Nowadays everything has to be NICIEC certified (or whatever has now superseded that). I would be inclined to get a lot of quotes.
