What is it about Land Rover owners?

It was the only thing that my wife could fit in, except an 10 ton truck!

    Sankey Owners

Just brought one myself and was pleasently suprised that despite the weight they seemed easy enough to lift and move. Don't know if you have much room on your drive but I was thinking of getting a retractable bollard to put through the hitch for security. Not looked into the sizes or cost yet though

    Why Land Rover?

Got mine for the wife's scooter, the cherokee I had before was too expensive and had too small a boot. Now I would not replace it with anything else than another defender despite the fact it feels like a pot on your backside, a pain the arse that just grows on you. :)

    Windscreen Demister

Yep, agree wit the squeegee or the chamois sponge. I just get the wife or daughter to operate it! :D

    Landy names

    Nato Hitch again

I'm ready to have the p**s ripped out as this must of been asked before :) but I have the hitch and want to make sure that it is fitted properly to the rear cross member. I expected to fit a backing plate, part number NRC8323, and possibly a plate on the front for a break away cable...

    Damned defender.....can anyone please help!!!

Don'y know if it will be any help but a mate had an old 90 with what was an earth problem. Tracked it down to the wiring in the rear door. One earth screw for the rear lights, indicators, brake lights, rear wiper and heated screen but through multiple wires soldered together which had corroded...

    Thug using Landie

Don't think they want us to do anything. I just thought that we see landies and are aware of them more and possibly there was a better chance someone might know of something. What this guy done wasn't right, so why shouldn't we help the coppers? This wasn't just something petty, next time it...

Convert or sell for London LEZ

I'm waiting too for the decision on the lez. R380 will fit to V8 but apparently you may need to change input shaft in the gearbox (depending on serial number) and a bell housing. Other alternative is a particulant trap. You can aleays shout and hastle the dvla to change its catagory, make them...
