I've got a stainless one from double S which is probably cost somewhere in the middle of britpart and a custom stainless job. Its lasted for 6 years so far and although its covered in rust, it seems to be still ok (famous last words). I don't think its the best quality stainless - I didn't...

It should be. I've got stuff to do tomorrow, so might not get chance to pop up there. The good news is that its pouring down at the minute, so it should be nice an muddy. :D

The tread pattern is Bar Grip. They're used by WWII jeeps and the like and hung around until the 70s. I've never had any, but heard that can be quite bad on the road in the wet, presumably as you'll be driving on that big slick area in the centre of the tyre. I'm not sure if they're still made...

Wasn't there someone on here who was talking to me in the pub about this a couple of months ago. They had a front prop let go and it came through the footwell and took out the pedal box with loss of brakes. Not worth messing with IMHO

Spyderman's starter packed up this morning, so it was just me and demonbiker in the end. No surprisingly everything was baked dry and rock solid and in some places massively overgrown. Had a call as I got in to say a new starter has been fitted and the Spydermobile is back on the road again, so...

I manage with a SIIa 109 on 7.50s. I have a piece of wood screwed to the floor, if I hit that its in the right place and I can get the garage door shut. Any further forward and it blocks the door to the house, and further back and the up and over bangs on the roof. Again it clears the door catch...
