Early td5 have 2 fuel channels in the head, the later ones only one;that's why the FPR is different also. Also the fuel injectors are different colours,the rocker cover gasket is different; you can mix the heads from one engine to another, but the cost should be higher.

Is the top hose pressurized or not, after normal ride at operating temp? A soft hose, prove a cap not working properly.

This is mine... I recommended it on other UK forum and one guy told me that some LR dealers said that there are no chance to fit. Just look on the picture.

Thank you for the advice! A lot of work, but I prefer using a syringe and to fill with water through the bleed screw until filled up. I did it, changed the cap, bleed when the top hose becomes concrete hard, and in the last 3 days I tested it for 2000 miles and no problems at all.

Same problem to my Td5, the top hose is "squidgy " even if the engine is at normal temperature, no coolant leak(it was on the cylinder head elbow but now is OK) . No hissing noise when loosing the tank cap... Maybe the cap is to be blamed? Other opinions?

My Disco is '99 and the Rover 75 remote shell fits like a glove over the inner circuits. Can post a picture if someone is interested.

Try on ebay for Rover 75 remotes or keyfob, as they are the same. There is no LR logo on the open button but only the Rover one. I have it on my Disco 2 and I think you can also use the electronics to be coded for your car. They are not only shells for sale.

On my Disco 2 I have Bearmach blues, BA2103 and BA 2104 . They are OK, the car is lifted with 2-3 inches and the front is a little upper than the rear(even now,after one year). Can be a good idea if you have a winch or heavy front bumper. On the Bearmach leaflet, they are rated as Def.90...

I have KL 71's and are great on mud and also on the road(up to 90 mph). There are not many things in common between "Sahara" name and British climate and soil isn't it? The best on mud are "special track" but on the road are a pain.

Hello, Same thing happened to mine(common fault,you will find that one of the magnets is broken due to freezing water and the rotor can't spin) , you can unplug the socket if want to have all the fuses. I changed mine with one of other type and adapted the little legs.

You need the dash and the steering box from a LHD car, and perhaps the brake pump , but the pipes can be modified.Also the AC or heating unit may be needed. It's not worth all the job, as these parts can be expensive in Europe(up to 5-600 Euros). You better buy a cheap LHD from Netherlands or...

I have AT2 on my Disco2(for 25kmiles ) and are OK! The profile is the same as Bf-Goodrich AT, on deep mud is not the best choice.. The compound is good , lasts longer than most others. Very good on roads, not noisy, a good tyre!

The aircon can work even if the fan is not working;the fan is activated by the aircon only when the outside temp is more then 25 degrees and up to 60 mph. Blocked I mean that you can' t spin it easy with a screwdriver or something thin and long enough through the grille. Mine had a cracked...

I had the same problem;it's the aircon fan,the one in front of the radiator, that it's blocked(try to spin the rotor just to check).I changed mine and no problems at all.Try to just unplug it till you have a new one;you don't need the aircon now...The fan could be always on if you overheated the...

Seems to be enough for what the intensions are...
