does anybody have a fuel tank that hisses when you take the filler cap off or is that normal for a td5 or do i have ablocked vent somewhere:doh::confused:

i think it is just the nut in middle as other 4 bolts hold brake back plate on

i found a socket a size smaller then hammered it on that worked i think hammering helped loosen it hope this helps

also worth checking is ablue connector under the seat neer the relays\ecu that connects several wires together u have to prise it open and give the contacts a good clean the pop it back together this made my td5 90 behave itselve

hi i used vehicleproducts.co.uk for my brake pipe bits do not now what reg your 90 is but mine is y2000 td5 90 and they were metric

hi all going to be doing me front brake pipes this weekend have pipe ,nuts(pipe connectors) flareing tool just need to now if pipes are double or single flare ,or will i see when i take them off (w reg td5 90)cheers rob

hi all i thought i would introduce myselve since i have been useing the site for a month or so just got back into landrovers after a short break got myselve a year 2000 td5 90 bought it back in nov last year its a bit rough around the edges but i will sort it out with time will post some pics...

i went to the local carpet shops looking for offcuts and found some hard wearing blue and it was just enough to do the back of my 90 did the floor and up over the wheel boxes used some spray on glue that they sold aswell the whole lot came to £26 :)

i live in cornwall and fkal hapens here despite all the disused quarrys from211rob
