Cheers Redhand. Should I replace them at the same time then? are they accessible??

I'm about to replace the front door hinges and have loosened them all with a posi#4 and impact driver already. Just didn't want to completely remove them yet as I'm unsure if the captive nuts behind remain captive in the pillar. Will they fall down inside or is there a way of accessing them...

Every time I start the engine, the starter motor gives quite a loud mechanical clicking sound before firing up. She always starts, even with this sound - just wondered if it's a warning sign to change the motor? Cheers, J

I took one aluminium sand ladder and one waffle board - covers all eventualities! Waffle boards do work in sand as dtd5 says, but I found the tyre can spin on them if you're not careful.....We absolutely needed ours in Mauritania and Mali, but most of the sand in Morocco we found was 'firm' sand...
