Td5 injector codes not entering correctly

If I remember correctly and I may be wrong, 10p engine eu2 black top only as they work at a lower pressure. 15/16p engine eu3 green and blue top injectors work at a higher pressure and are interchangable with eachother.

    Td5headproblems

Sounds like a lot of money to me, I take it you can't do it yourself? I would have thought about £500 for a good indi garage to do the gasket and IF it needs another head I would put a good recon one on, another £300-£500 . Hope that helps.

    TD5 Oil Light - Now won't work?

Bennehboy talks a lot of sense when he says that you don't know if the engine has been starved of oil, You could be spending a few hundred quid replacing the chains, sprokets, oil pump etc etc and still not know if the engine is any good. Your first post states that the motor is all sorted so...

    TD5 Oil Light - Now won't work?

That is definatly a piece of the timing chain guide that you found in the sump, good job you took the sump off and found it as that could block the feed up to the rota filter. It looks to me as you are going to need to make further investigations in to engine, as has been said front cover off...

    TD5 Oil Light - Now won't work?

It's well less than 1 hour if he's a proper spanner man, you might want to think about a new sump gasket as well. Kevin

    TD5 Oil Light - Now won't work?

This does not sound good!! I'm sure you are right it will almost certainly be the oil pump bolt. Only one way to tell for sure and thats to rip the sump off and have a look. If it is the bolt you may well have done untold damage to the engine and the only way of telling is a complete strip...

Disco 2 growing list! Help needed

It may well be the top of the screen in the corners, pull back the rubbers and have a look, also check the gutter corners as they are known to leak. Either of these leaks will result in water travelling down the A pillar. Both can be fixed by a good sealant. It sounds like the electrical...

    Anyone try this stuff?

From what you say it appears that you have no symptoms of a failing head gasket and only one sign, ie. water on the drive. I would strongly suspect that you have a leak elsewhere and you need to check that out first. You don't really want to be putting head gasket sealant in the system if...

    Leaking roof

    TD5 engine oil leaks!

In answer to your question, yes there is a rear cam oil seal and it's a pig to get at, a mirror on a stick!! is one way of checking it. Also have a look at the crank oil seal, you can't see it unless you take the crank pulley off and that's a job in it's self!! but check underneath the pulley to...

    A Bit of a Rattle

Check your exhaust manifold, a stud or two may have sheared, also check the heat sheald around the turbo, the back bracket often snaps on them. Have fun

    TD5 Discovery 2001 Clutch

The clutch on a td5 is a pig to bleed, it really wants a power bleed to do in properly!! as for the Island 4x4 4 piece clutch kit, that's the same one I used last year and the DMF went in no problems so I don't really know what your garage are on about!!! Get it power bled and see what a...
