Here's the ohm reading on my prehistoric multi meter, between the positive and earth on the RH side

But when I test like this and turn on I get 13.5v on the single wire

Almost nothing at all :confused:

Spot on, I have to fix mine in - I was lazy and just connected it in the boot to test it.....a week later it's still like that. Good point with the pictures of connections, I'll have to do that too. I've since been out quite a bit in the car and the reception is pretty good with the standard...

Hi Barry, it was a straight swap, no recoding and worked with my touch screen system in the front. As soon as I changed it I got a pic straight away. As per this convo the picture is sometimes hit and miss. But I suppose that's just how it is. Cheers Chris
